for a German like me, danish is great, i've only been there once but somehow i learned that in some cases i can still talk German but put the ending "er" to the words, so when i wanted to buy a trout (forelle in german) i said "en packer foreller" and everything was fine, that was great xP

Danish (and norwegian btw) is pretty easy to understand for me to since I speak swedish...
But I still think it's sounds so damn strange! xP

About the adding 'er'...I didn't know that! That's kind of awesome. You don't have to struggle to remember two completely different languages. XD

I wish my great grandfather hadn't been afraid to teach his family German when he moved here during the Nazi war. Can't blame him, but I would be bilingual now. *pout* I think German is very gutteral and rough, and that makes it cool sounding, but it can sound a tad mean at times. XDDD

My favorite languages are Japanese, Thai and Russian. There are many I haven't heard, I know that for sure, but of the ones I hear the most those are my favorites. :3
